This simple HTML site was designed in 2004, to co-ordinate with other work we were doing for this large and prestigious art school. It came about during the school’s second iteration of logo and identity (and name) which we had been asked to work with. This identity was based typographically around the German typeface, Blender. The site was built to inform about a conference on sustainability in the urban environment, held at Emily Carr. We chose images of where “nature” and “culture” intersected, such as skies with building cranes, manicured lawns and seawall walks. A simple grid overlays these images with data on the conference.
